BfB

The BFB was founded in 1949. The organs of the BFB are the general assembly, the board of directors and the presidium. The Presidium represents the BFB externally. The board of directors determines the guidelines of the association’s policy. The BFB General Assembly usually meets once a year.

The professional groups represented in the BFB are united in self-governing bodies and associations. They are made up of the independent medical, legal and economic advisory, technical and scientific, educational, psychological and translating as well as journalistic and artistic professions. The 15 regional associations also belong to the federal association.
