No more content may be uploaded that contains nudity, pornography or <em>&#8220;offensive language&#8221;<\/em> . Microsoft could also listen to Skype conversations. With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/servicesagreement\/upcoming.aspx\">new<\/a> terms and conditions for its cloud services Skype, Xbox Live, Bing and Onedrive, Microsoft is securing the right to remove <em>&#8220;inappropriate content&#8221;<\/em> from users in the future. The new conditions presumably go back to the controversial US law Fosta ( <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stop_Enabling_Sex_Traffickers_Act\">previously Sesta<\/a> , the Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act of 2017), which is supposed to combat human trafficking and sexual exploitation. This may hold operators of digital services responsible for the content hosted there, which is why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.golem.de\/news\/us-gesetz-google-loescht-pornos-von-sexarbeitern-1803-133524.html\">Google has already deleted porn from sex workers<\/a> . Civil rights activist Jonathan Corbett was the first <a href=\"https:\/\/professional-troublemaker.com\/2018\/03\/25\/microsoft-bans-offensive-language-from-skype\/\">to write about the new conditions<\/a> .
